 In the US, companies are not mandated to give paid time off to their employees, which results in limited Paid Time Off (PTO) allowance. Employees have become increasingly frugal with their time off and give in to the stigma surrounding “taking too much time.”   Re:  is a collaborative TEDx Cincinnati event that serves to encourage PTO policy reconsideration, relinquish the stigma around taking PTO, and offer suggestions that allow employees to use their time effectively and desirably.
